The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is organizing a public presentation of its opinion “Maritime piracy: strengthening the EU response”.

The event will take place on 24 January 2013 (2 p.m.-5.30 p.m.) in Brussels.

Selected high-level EU representatives from the European Commission, European Parliament and the Council were invited, as well as key non-governmental stakeholders in the field.

A reception will take place at the end of the public presentation.
